Rudy

This is the last entry that I will make.  Sad to think that this is the last one.  I hope that you have enjoyed reading about them as I have writing about them.  This is Rudy, Lil'Rudy's dad.  He is a Cavalier.  He is a very beautiful dog.  The only thing about Rudy that I know of is this one time Billy and I took him to the vet because he had a knot on the top of his head.  The vet gave medicine but really did not know what to do for it.  I really haven't gotten the chance to know Rudy well.  Hopefully that will change once he comes over and I can play with him and get to know his mannerisms.

Mr. Stubbies and Mr. Stubbles

Mr. Stubbies is chocolate and white, while Mr. Stubbles is black and white.  Both are cockapoos and both are Lizzy's. When we use to bring Mr. Stubbies in, he would cower every time.  Mr. Stubbles, on the othet hand, would come right in and go to bed.  Since it is summer, they stay out all the time.  Now for winter, I am not sure if they will stay out or not.
Again, these two are the sweetest dogs, they love to play with me, when I am playing with the boys.  They just turned one and they love to chase each other.  Sometimes they fight with each other.  Othertimes, they just like it when things are the same.  I have also seem them fight other dogs.  I don't like it when the dogs fight.  I hate breaking them up, but I know I have to.  Enjoy the picture.

Lucky

Lucky is a beautiful tan dog.  He has a bur patch just like Cupid.  His mom is no longer around.  He is really friendly and gets excited when Billy and I come for a visit.  He has his own little spot in the barn and he goes in and out whenever he wants to.  Billy told me that when Lucky was 4 weeks old, he was placed in an oxygen tank.  He then was bedridden for 2 weeks and developed bed sores on his stomach.  Billy remembers comiing home from work and Lucky would be in the play area all covered up.  The vet by this point gave up and did not think that Lucky would live.  At 9 weeks Billy took him to Coshocton Pet Days and he won first place.  Billy still has his ribbon.  He also had to carry Lucky since he was not use to being on a leash.

Hershey

Well, here he is, the stud dog.. The first time I saw Hershey, Billy was trimming him down and I went to help him.  I took one look at him and saw Susie.  He stood very still and left Billy to trim him.  I got to pet him and was talking to him in case he was getting scared.  I am impressed with this dog.  He is not too sure of me yet.  I let him sniff my hand, but he doesn't know me like the other dogs do.  It will take time.  Once he comes over, he'll know me and will be able to jump on me and give kisses like everyone else does.
He has champion blood in him and he is chocolate just like Susie.  Hence his name Hershey.  I have noticed that when Billy's dogs get to know me, they come around me more then him, which he says is fine.  He is glad that they are taking such a liking to me.  Billy put Hershey on a leash so we could bring him over, well, he did to me what Scottie always does and that is once they are free from their surroundings the only thing they know to do is take off a running.  I am holding onto the leash, but I am practically running to keep up with him.  This picture of Hershey is when he was younger, I have not taken a current one of him yet.

Lucy

Lucy came over in june of 2010.  She is the last female to have puppies.  She has a nickname and that is Panda Bear because she looks just like a Panda Bear.  We call her by her nickname then the name I gave her.
She is so sweet and loving.  When Billy bought her, he was told that she was a cocker spaniel.  I looked at her and could tell that she was not.  She is more of a cockapoo with short stubby legs.  She jumps up on you, but not for very long with short legs.  I would say she stands on two legs for about five minutes and then she is back down on all fours.
All I can say about her is, she is a good dog and wouldn't harm anyone or anything.  She is now to the point where she does not want to be put up when I get her and her puppies out.  Sometime soon, she will be going outside to a kennel.  I will be going outside and playing more with them.

Sugar

Sugar came over in Oct. of 2009.  She is blind in one eye.  When I call to her, she comes and jumps on me.  She gets excited when I am playing with her that I think she is trying to bite me.  I know that she would never do that, she is just playing.  When the other dogs go out, she stays in due to the fact that she can't see.
All in all, I think each of these dogs are happy in their own way.  The nice thing about having all these dogs is all the love and kisses they give.  Sugar is my buddy.  She may not be able to see me, but she is able to hear me call her name and come running.

Winnie

Winnie came over in Aug. 2009.  Let me just say that this dog never seems happy.  She is always mad at the world.
With me, she likes to waller on me or when she is embarrassed, she will bury her head under my arm.  She, too, likes to be petted and played with.  She also craves attention and likes it when I pet her and rub behind her ears.
In all honesty, what dog doesn't like to have their bellies rubbed or their ears scratched?  Winnie is Susie's mom.  When she is outside, she always has a toy in her mouth.  Whenever there is a bird of any type outside the fence, she is right there barking at it.
Winnie and Lady are opposite with each other.  Lady is more playful and Winnie is just mad.  But they both like being around me and letting me pet them and play with them.  I guess it just depends on their moods as to whom they allow themselves to get close too.

Cupid

Cupid and her puppies came over two days later after Lizzy did. What do I say about Cupid, well, she is the sweetest and friendliest dog you will ever meet. She is my buddy and follows me wherever I go. Sometimes they get under foot and you trip over them and other times, they will stand right by your side listening, well, at least to me it seems like they are listening.

She does have a nickname and that is bur-head. She has hair that sticks straight up on top of her head or on the bur spot and its cute.
She doesn't like it when I have to put her in a cage to let the puppies out to play. She tries to hide from me but I end up winning in the end and she goes in one. It is usually for an hour or two so the puppies can eat and drink and play for a little while.
What else can I say about Cupid, other than she is a lover as well. She loves it when you scratch behind her ear. She simply goes limp and leans in on the side you are scratching.

Lizzy

Lizzy is black and white with tan eyebrows, so that makes her tri colored.  She came over in July of 2009.  Billy was done with breeding dogs since the economy was starting to go from bad to worse in a matter of time.  Well, four of his dogs decided to surprise us with a litter of puppies.
She had two beautiful dogs that are cockapoos.  Mr. Stubbies and Mr. Stubbles.  I will tell you more about them later.
Lizzy does not like Winnie.  I think, she deliberately gets in Winnie's way, so she will growl at her.  Lizzy whines when it thunderstorms, she does not like them, I don't either, so I have to be the brave one and tell her that its ok and that we are safe.  I know, she may not understand what I am saying and my husband thinks its cute that I try to hold a conversation with them but its only one sided, me talking.  Well, if these dogs are suppose to be man's best friend, you would think that you were suppose to talk to them.  At least I do and I try to pet them every day to let them know that they are loved and wanted.
Now, off my soap box and back to Lizzy.  She also whines when you get near her, which is quite funny because she jumps straight up in the air and runs away from you.
She is also a very loving and affectionate dog.  She likes to jump up on me so I will pet her.  It's not unusual to see four dogs around me like that.  Waiting for me to pet them and say good morning to them.
In the picture, Lizzy is with the cats, Andy and Pepper.

Cinnamon

Cinnamon or Cinny as we like to call her, is Lil'Rudy's mom.  She is a cockalier, which is a mix of cocker spaniel and king charles cavalier spaniel.  Lil'Rudy is also a cockalier.
After Billy and I were married, Cinny came over.  At first she was very shy because she did not know me.  But as time wore on, she began to loosen up.
Now when she sees me, she jumps up on me, so I will pet her.  Sometimes she'll be so excited to see me that she'll shake her whole body at me.  It's rather fun watching her shake.
Susie for some reason likes to get on top of her.  They may have gotten into at least one or two fights because of that.  We are not sure why Susie started getting on top of her as she came out the door, she just did.  There for awhile, Cinny was afraid to go out because of that.  Now its not a problem.
Cinny is a very sweet and loving dog.  She will snort wihen I play with her.  I usually have to laugh when she does that.

Pudgy

Like I said in Lady's little bio, Pudgy is hers.  When he does something wrong, that is when he cowers down and walks to his bed.  It is kinda sad to see him walk with his head hanging down.
He doesn't do it all the time.  Billy and I can't remember a time that we had to yell at him or punish him.
When I sit outside with the boys, when they are on the porch instead of out in the run, the girls are inside, Pudgy comes up to me and either gives me a kiss or takes his paws and scratches my back.  He is a really good back scratcher. Ha Ha.
Lady and Winnie are cousins which makes Pudgy and Susie cousins but they are so far down the line that it was ok for them to be together.  He is the one who is the father of Susie's puppies.
When he first learned to walk, he would high step.  It was fun to watch him play with the others.  Lil'Rudy use to get him in the ears.  No dog likes getting their ears pulled.  This picture of Pudgy is with Cinnamon or Cinny as we call her.  It was the only picture I could find.  Pudgy is black and white.

Lady

Lady is a lap dog.  She wants to be #1.  When I am sitting in a chair, she will come up to and nudge my arm up, so I will pet her.  She also jumps on me.
We brought Lady over Jan. 2009.  It had gotten really cold outside and Billy had noticed tht she had lost three puppies.  She had only one left.  So we closed off the kitchen and Lady and her puppy stayed there until she weaned him.  Which was at 6 weeks.
We ended up keeping this puppy and his name is Pudgy.  The reason why I named him Pudgy was because he had a pudgy butt.
Lady craves attention just like all my other dogs do.  She wants to be with me all the time.  I love her and the others dearly but sometimes I need my space and just some time for me.
When she is not near Lottie, she gets along with the other dogs and plays well with them.  One day last week, Lady and Dottie were galloping through the dining room, playing with each other.  It was so cute.  I at first thought that they were going to start fighting, but when I looked, they were galloping around each other trying to play with the other.

Susie

Susie was also born in Oct. of 2008.  Her mom is Winnie, and I will talk about her later.  We did not sell Susie because either she was born without an ear or when the vet was removing her dew claw clipped her ear.  We do not have a nickname for her.  The thing about Susie is that with having only one ear, you would think that it would slow her down.  Well, it doesn't she is on the move all the time and very hyper.
When she was allowed to run through the house like the others, I would sit on the couch and try and get her to come and sit with me, well, she did come up on the couch and went right back down again.  She would never stay in one place long enough for me or Billy to pet her.
In May, of this year, just a few days after Billy and I celebrated our one year anniversary, she had a litter of puppies.  This is her first and last litter, she had 4 males (a buff or blonde color and three blacks) and two females ( a chocolate and a black and tan).

Lil' Rudy

Lil'Rudy was born in Oct. of 2008.  His Mother is Cinnamon (Cinny), I'll talk more about her later.  He doesn't like to fight, only when he has to.  That is usually because another male is trying to eat at the same time that he is.  I have told him time and time again that he needs to share.  I guess I will start giving him a time out.  Ha Ha.
When Billy gets mad at him, he will either run away or run to me.  I can't protect him from what he did.  Other times, he knows he did wrong and will hunker down or cower because he just got busted.  He doesn't get in trouble all that often, though sometimes it could feel like that all we do is yell at him.
We ended up keeping him because no one wanted to buy him.  He is very sweet and loving.  I have a picture of him when he was a baby, and when he turned 1 I took another of him.  Billy and I can't believe that this is the same little guy.  Where did the time go.
Like any other dog, he too has a nickname.  We call him a woose, because he will not defend himself.  See, it all started when he and susie were little and when she would play with him, she would bite him in the ear and all you could hear was him screaming and running away.  Billy use to tell him to get a backbone and diefend himself.  Up until now, he never did.
He got to spend a little bit of time with me, when I came home from having my gall bladder removed.  He and Lottie walked me to the bathroom, paced until I came out and then walked back to the couch with me and curled up at my feet.
Evem though they misbehave, they do things like this that make me love them more.

Scottie

When Scottie was coming home with us, we stopped at McDonald's and got supper.  Scottie acted like he hadn't eaten, so we went through the drive-thru again and got him a hamburger.  As soon as we got the bag and pulled away, the next thing I know here's Scottie nose diving over the seat, face first into the bag.
When Scottie barks, it sounds more like a boof then a bark, so now his nickname is boofer.  He is the biggest baby ever.  He craves attention.  He will bump my arm up so I will pat or rub his head.
When I get the chance to sit outside with the boys, after the girls are brought in, he likes to jump up so I will pet him.  He has even jumped into my lap and licked me in the face.
Billy likes to get Scottie to boof (bark).  All he has to do is stare at him.  I get Scottie to boof when I play music and start to dance.
The one thing that I have noticed about my bulldogs is that they are very devoted to whomeve takes care of them.  Now when the temperature outside is 90+ degrees, we have to bring Scottie, Dottie and Lottie in so they don't get hot or overheated.  They come into a cool house and relax and calm down.
